Background: About our Music Escape Room

The story

A mysterious conspiracy is targeting Cologne: The whole city is to be hypnotized! But there is an antidote…

It is a mysterious old machine that is said to have magical powers. It is located in a small, crazy music school on Kartäuserwall in Südstadt. And strange things tend to happen there…

Back in the swinging sixties, a few musicians constructed an experimental magical instrument and hid it here. Why is it hidden? Well, this music machine has great power and should not fall into the wrong hands!

But in the right hands, the machine can also do a lot of good! And now it is needed, because the city of Cologne is in danger! Sinister conspirators are trying to hypnotize the city, render its inhabitants helpless and bring everything under control! They kidnapped the music teacher so that he wouldn’t get in their way… but they didn’t count on your team.

Your mission:

In the music school, the magical music machine is waiting to be used to prevent the crime and save the town. But it is well hidden. And not everyone can operate it! You only have just under an hour, and your path will be extremely… well, puzzling!

Game concept

Fun is at the heart of all our escape rooms. It is the number of well-balanced small and large puzzles that makes up the gaming experience for you.

The game is structured in such a way that there is almost always something to do in several places at the same time. This is also what makes this room so suitable for large teams. we mix elements of a classic escape game, such as locks and similar charming analog stuff with a few surprising technical effects. Of course, we can’t reveal what these are. However, our aim is to embed the puzzles in the theme and the story – a task that is not always easy, but we are convinced that we have succeeded quite well. Come and see for yourself!

Game atmosphere

We opted for plenty of space and lots of light for the magical music machine – a pleasantly relaxed environment to fully immerse yourself in the game and the puzzles. The magical music machine is also one of the very few room escapes with daylight – at least during the day. You won’t be scared by us either (of course, we can’t influence what you do to each other). So you can also take your children with you without any problems (take a look at our special rates for families and children’s birthday parties ). The door to the game room remains unlocked at all times, as it is not your mission to escape from the room. Who wants to leave early? After all, you’ve already heard people say that this is Cologne’s funniest escape room…
